PATTERSON — Rylie Chaisson, a senior softball player at Patterson High School, signed her letter of intent Monday with John Melvin University in Crowley.
Every Tri-City area high school has a team in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s Volleyball Playoff with home games this week.
The Patterson High School Lumberjacks pulled off a win, 32-26, in a back and forth contest Friday night in Patterson against the Donaldsonville Tigers.
The Morgan City Lady Tigers had one first-team All-District 8-4A girls basketball team selection.
Patterson High School had two athletes named honorable mention on the Louisiana Football Coaches Association Class 3A All-State team earlier this year.
