The Morgan City High School boys basketball team won their sixth straight contest with a 59-38 victory against White Castle in first-day action at New Iberia’s tournament. Morgan City outscored White Castle in every quarter, taking a 19-10 lead after a period of play, a 34-19 halftime advantage and a 48-30 lead heading to the fourth period. Jared Singleton led Morgan City with 17 points, while Ke’Sean Francois added 13.
