Morgan City High School had three baseball players earn Louisiana Sports Writ-ers Association Class 4A Honorable Mention All-State recognition. Senior outfielder Morrquise Charles, senior pitcher Logan Tingle and sophomore shortstop William LaRocca earned the honors. Charles hit .423 this sea-son with six doubles, one triple, six home runs and 26 RBIs. He scored 24 runs, had an on-base percentage of .549 and a slugging percentage of .747. Defensively, Charles had a .946 fielding percentage. Tingle finished 5-2 on the mound this year with a 2.38 ERA.
