Plaquemine edges Morgan City, 1-0

The Morgan City High School Tigers dropped a 1-0 decision to P l a q u e m i n e a t Plaquemine’s tournament Thursday. The host Green Devils scored the game’s lone run in the bottom of the third inning. “The kids have worked hard,” Morgan City Coach Tim Vidos said. “I’m very proud of them, and I know that the Plaquemine loss is a hard one to swallow; however, (they’re) fighters, and I’m confident that good things are just around the corner.” Chris Pitre suffered the loss for Morgan City.
