Patterson to travel to 4A Westgate Friday

Patterson braces for its second straight nondistrict foe Friday, with a trip to New Iberia to face Class 4A’s Westgate. The Lumberjacks (2-2) took it on the chin last week with a 60-27 loss to Class 5A’s Terrebonne High School. In all, Terrebonne rushed for 393 yards and collected 502 yards in total offense in what became a second-half rout. Already ahead 30-19 at halftime, Terrebonne outscored Patterson 30-8 in the second half.
