Patterson tops Delcambre in straight sets

The Patterson Lumberjills defeated Delcambre 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-19) in District 2-IV action at Patterson Thursday. The win snapped a five-game losing streak for Patterson. In Thursday’s win, Gabby Marcel and Emma Marin led Patterson. Marcel had 15 kills and 12 digs, while Marin recorded three aces, five digs and 22 assists. Other top Patterson contributors were Briyanna Butler, 10 kills, seven digs and three solo blocks; Alyssa Perkins, two aces, 12 kills and three digs; and Nyla Alexander, one ace, one kill and seven digs.
