The Patterson High School Lumberjacks scored one touchdown in their preseason scrimmage at St. James Thursday.
Patterson’s touchdown, a long run by Dajon Richard in the final of three 10-minute quarters, put the Lumberjacks on the scoreboard. Patterson first-year head coach Ryan Stewart said he thought the final score was 21-7 in favor of St. James.
“Things went good,” Stewart said. “We saw some good things, saw some bad things. Defensively was a surprise. They played pretty good. Offensively, we had some issues up front. Of course they got a really good defensive tackle who kind of dominated the game.
