Patterson routs Jeanerette 70-49

Behind a huge fourth quarter, the Patterson Lumberjacks routed Jeanerette 70-49 in boys’ basketball action in Jeanerette Tuesday. Ahead 48-40 entering the fourth quarter, Patterson outscored Jeanerette 22-9 in the final period. Despite the lopsided finish, Patterson trailed earn as Jeanerette took a 20-11 lead after a quarter of play. However, the Lumberjacks responded in the second quarter, outscoring Jeanerette 27-12 for a 38-32 halftime advantage. Drew Lucas led three Lumberjacks in double figures with 15 points.
