Patterson falls to Rayne 58-54

The Patterson Lumberjacks fell at home Monday to the Rayne Wolves 58-54. Despite the loss, the Lumberjacks had three players reach double figures, led by Elijah Williams with 17. Other top Patterson scorers were Kai Schexnayder, 15; Tyrone Tillman, 13; Louis Jones and Tylon Walton, four each; and Kyler Paul, three. Last week, Patterson finished 3-0 at Runnels’ tournament. However, because one of the opponents — Mississippi-based Saint Stanislaus — is from out of state, only two of the wins count for Louisiana High School Athletic Association records.
