The Patterson Lumberjacks rallied from a halftime deficit to defeat the South Terrebonne Gators 45-40 in first-day action at Central Catholic’s tournament.
While Patterson trailed 30-20 at halftime, the Lumberjacks outscored South Terrebonne 13-2 in the third quarter for a 33-32 lead after three periods of play. In the fourth quarter, Patterson outscored South Terrebonne 12-6.
Early on, South Terrebonne led 10-9 after a quarter, and the Gators extended their lead by halftime after outscoring Patterson 20-11 in the second period.
