Morgan City High School defeated South Terrebonne 58-47 in boys’ basketball action in Morgan City Friday. While the Tigers trailed 16-7 after a quarter, Morgan City countered with an 18-9 second-quarter scoring ad-vantage to tie the game at 25 at halftime. Morgan City outscored South Terrebonne 18-11 in the third quarter for a 43-36 lead after three quarters before again outscoring the Gators 15-11 in the fourth period.
