Morgan City run-rules Plaquemine 10-0 in 5 innings

The Morgan City Lady Tigers run-ruled Plaquemine 10-0 in five innings in Morgan City Tuesday. Morgan City led 2-0 after an inning before adding six runs in the second for an 8-0 advantage. The Lady Tigers added two more runs in the bottom of the fourth for the final margin. The game was called after the top of the fifth due to the mercy rule. While Morgan City outhit Plaquemine just 6-4, Plaquemine committed four errors, and its pitchers combined for four walks and four hit batters.
