Morgan City High School will open Class 4A boys basketball playoff action at home Friday when the No. 16 seed Tigers host No. 17 Warren Easton in a 7 p.m. contest.
Morgan City (15-13) finished 4-2 in District 7-4A action this season, losing its home finale to Assumption 63-54.
“Considering the process it takes to rebuild and the pieces that I had to work with and not having the time to have an offseason, it’s been up and down,” first-year Morgan City Coach Herman Hartman, who took over in October, said. “It’s been inconsistent.”
