The Morgan City High School Tigers will take the long trip to north Louisiana Tuesday to try to knock off top seed Bossier in Class 4A regional round action at 7 p.m.
Morgan City (16-13), Class 4A’s No. 16 seed, advanced to the second round after defeating No. 17 Warren Easton 58-46 in first-round action Friday.
Meanwhile, Bossier (28-3) routed No. 32 New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy 90-29 in other first-round action.
Bossier enters Tuesday’s regional round having won 17 straight games. Its last loss came on Dec. 29 to Madison Prep.
