Morgan City High School dropped two District 7-4A contests with South Terrebonne this weekend as the squad fell 1-0 Friday in Bourg and 5-1 Saturday in Morgan City.
Friday, South Terrebonne scored the game’s lone run in the bottom of the first inning.
Logan Tingle suffered the loss. In six innings, he surrendered one run (one earned) on five hits with three walks and seven strikeouts.
Ethan Nguyen led Morgan City’s offense with a 2-for-3 performance.
Saturday, South Terrebonne took a 1-0 lead in the first and increased it to 3-0 in the third and 5-0 in the fifth.
