The Morgan City Lady Tigers defeated Ellender 10-8 at home Thursday. While Morgan City held leads of 5-0 in the bottom of the third and 7-1 after four innings, Ellender rallied with five runs in the top of the fifth to cut its deficit to 7-6. Morgan City added three runs in the bottom of the sixth for a 10-6 lead, and Ellender scored two runs in the top of the seventh.
