MCHS Lady Tiger Bowling team wins district title

The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team defeated Central Catholic 20-7 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City Wednesday to capture the district championship. Juliet Thibodeaux led Morgan City (9-3 overall, 4-0 in district) with a 584 series (190, 214, 180), while MacKenzie Amador had a 548 series (168, 187, 193). Kameron Patureau added a 506 series (170, 165, 171). Emily Price led Central Catholic with a 461 series (160, 150, 151). Other top Central Catholic bowlers were Jolie Boudreaux (151, 150), Julianna Hernandez (157) and Ashley Daigle (155). Monday, Morgan City fell 14-13 to South Terrebonne at Creole Lanes in Houma.
