MCHS' Grogan places 6th in the 4A 400-meter run

Morgan City High School’s Deondre Grogan recorded a personal-best en route to a sixth-place finish in the Class 4A boys’ 400-meter run at Saturday’s Allstate Sugar Bowl/Louisiana High School Athletic Association Outdoor Track and Field State Meet at LSU’s Bernie Moore Track Stadium. Grogan ran 50.29 for his finish, besting his regional performance of 50.61. The Morgan City junior came into Saturday’s race seeded sixth and finished in the sixth position.
