The Morgan City High School softball team’s regular season is winding down with the team’s final game scheduled for Thursday, and the Lady Tigers soon will turn their attention to Class 4A postseason play. The Lady Tigers entered this season having to replace a talented senior class from a year ago that led the squad to a Class 4A State Runner-up appearance. Among those players lost to graduation were pitcher and leadoff hitter Kennedy Hebert, Louisiana’s Gatorade Softball Player of the Year who now is a freshman at Nicholls State; centerfielder Allie Vincent, who now is at Baton Rouge Community College;
