Morgan City High School had one baseball player selected to the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State team as junior Morrquise Charles was an honorable mention selection. Charles batted .376 this season. He had 32 hits, including eight doubles, two triples and one home run. He collected 22 RBIs and scored 19 runs. Charles had a .465 on-base percentage and a .553 slugging percentage. Defensively, Charles recorded 60 put outs, four assists and just four errors for a .941 fielding percentage.
