The Morgan City Lady Tigers and Berwick Lady Panthers each finished 1-1 at their respective tournaments this weekend. Morgan City (19-4) split its games Sunday against Dutchtown and Destrehan, topping Dutchtown, 4-2, before falling to Destrehan, 4-3, in 11 innings in games at Destrehan’s round robin. Saturday at Iota’s tournament, Berwick (10-17) defeated Lafayette High, 11-9, but fell to Iota, 15-12. At St. Thomas More’s Catholic Tournament, Central Catholic (19-5) fell to Menard, 13-6, in its lone game.
