MCHS baseball sweeps Ellender

Morgan City High School swept its three District 7-4A contests with Ellender this weekend. After Morgan City took a 7-6 win Friday at home, the Tigers routed the Patriots in Houma Saturday by scores of 19-0 and 12-5. Morgan City never trailed in Friday’s contest as it jumped out to a 7-0 lead after four innings. However, Ellender scored four runs in the top of the sixth and two more in the top of the seventh for the close finish. Chris Pitre earned the win.
