The Morgan City High School Tigers qualified competitors in two events for the state track and field meet during the Louisiana High School Athletic Association Class 4A Region III Championships at Thibodaux High School April 25. The Tigers qualified Deondre Grogan in the 400-meter run and its 4x200-meter relay. Grogan finished third in the 400-meter run with a time of 50.64, while the 4x200-meter relay finished third with a time of 1:30.23. The Tigers finished 11th in team scoring with 16 points.
