The Lutcher Bulldogs jumped out quickly on the Patterson Lumberjacks, and Patterson was unable to catch up as Lutcher rolled to a 49-7 victory in District 9-3A action at Patterson Friday.
Lutcher scored touchdowns on its first three possessions for a 21-0 advantage after Rasuan Storks’ second con-secutive touchdown run on a 4-yard carry with 4:28 re-maining in the first quarter.
Patterson’s lone touchdown came on its ensuing drive as the Lumberjacks moved the ball 64 yards in 13 plays, capped by Allen Langston’s 10-yard touchdown run.
