Lumberjacks will close their 2018 season at Kaplan Friday

Despite a disappointing season in which the Patterson Lumberjacks will miss the playoffs for the first time in 17-plus years, Patterson is stalking Kaplan in its season finale Friday in Kaplan. Patterson (1-8, 0-4 District 8-3A) hasn’t won since week 1 but still gave Erath all it could handle last week. The Lumberjacks were stopped on a fourth-down-and-eight situation with under a minute to play, losing 28-21. Standout running back Dajon Richard led the ‘Jacks’ offense with 247 yards on 29 carries with three touchdowns.
