Central Catholic High School sophomore volleyball player Terre’yan “Yani” Johnson capped a solid sophomore season with a selection to the Division V Louisiana Volleyball Coaches Association All-State team. Johnson, a middle blocker, was one just four sophomores in all classes to be selected to the elite squad. Johnson finished her season with 480 kills, 62 aces and 205 blocks as she played a key role in leading the Lady Eagles to the Division V semifinals where they fell in three close sets to eventual state champion Metairie Park-Country Day.
