Hannan defeats CCHS, 21-13

Central Catholic and Archbishop Hannan went toe-to-toe in a thriller Friday at Tiger Stadium in Morgan City. Hannan held off Central Catholic, 20-13, in a defensive struggle that went to the second half with Central Catholic clinging to a 7-6 lead. Class 3A Archbishop Hannan Hawks scored first on the legs of quarterback Christopher Rabensteiner on 6-yard run with 6:08 left in the second quarter. Hannan (2-0) missed the point-after attempt for a 6-0 lead.
