Donaldsonville eases past MCHS 44-6

The Morgan City High School football team’s two-game winning streak was snapped Friday with a 44-6 loss to Class 3A Donaldsonville. While Morgan City trailed just 22-6 at halftime, Donaldsonville outscored the Tigers, 22-0 in the second half for the final margin. Morgan City's lone score came via a pass from quarterback Alex Brocato to receiver KeSean Francois. Morgan City came into Friday’s contest having defeated Hanson 29-24 and North Central 55-14 in the last two weeks. Donaldsonville featured two of the state’s top prospects, according to Rivals.com, in University of Houston commitment Tahj Brown and Tulane commitment Davon Wright.
