Despite its record, Berwick has shown improvement

While its record is under .500 this season, the Berwick High School Panthers have made improvements this year from a season ago, Coach Toney Linn said recently. Earlier this month in its first game of the New Year, Berwick eclipsed last year’s win total. The Panthers (4-12) finished 3-25 a year ago. “Our record may not always reflect it, but we are a better team this year,” Linn said, noting this year’s squad would have defeated last year’s team.
