The Central Catholic Lady Eagles routed Covenant Christian Academy 63-12 in District 8-1A action in Morgan City Tuesday. Central Catholic led 25-5 after a quarter, took a 35-5 lead into halftime and led 52-6 after three quarters. Yani Johnson led three Lady Eagles in double figures with 23 points. Other Central Catholic scorers were as follows: Kamille Lightfoot, 11; Laurielle Bias, 10; Jade Oliney, seven; Lexi Landry, five; Charlotte Callais, three; and Ava Nicar and Brie Johnson, two each.
