Central Catholic to host Hanson Memorial for homecoming

Central Catholic returns to district play Friday when Hanson Memorial comes to Tiger Stadium in Morgan City. The Eagles look to rebound after a 45-16 nondistrict loss to Class 4-A’s Vandebilt Catholic last Thursday. “We looked at the tape and we saw some good things and some bad things, and now we’ve turned our attention to Hanson,” Central Catholic Coach Tommy Minton said. “We need a win over Hanson for district standings, power rankings, and it’s our home-coming.” Last week, Vandebilt scored on four of its five first-half possessions and took 28-16 halftime lead.
