CCHS will open District 7-1A play at Gueydan

Central Catholic pulled away from False River 55-33 in the second half of Friday’s game to notch the Eagles’ first win of the season. Central Catholic opened the season with two tough losses while playing up in classification. Last week’s win, however, was much needed with District 7-1A play opening Friday in Gueydan. “It’s always good to get that first win under your belt,” Central Catholic Coach Tommy Minton said. “The kids realize that we have taken big strides from week one to now.
