CCHS upsets University Lab 7-4

The Central Catholic Eagles baseball team upset University Lab, Division II’s top-ranked squad, 7-4 at Ascension Catholic’s tournament Thursday. Central Catholic scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth to overcome a 4-2 deficit and added a single run in the bottom of the sixth. “Today was obviously a good team win against a really good opponent,” Central Catholic Coach Tyler Jensen said. “I think it shows what we are capable of when we play for each other and play up to our potential.
