The Central Catholic Eagles defeated Morgan City High School 17-0 in jamboree action in Morgan City Saturday. Central Catholic will open its season in Thibodaux at 1 p.m. Monday against E.D. White, while Morgan City opened its season at home against Terrebonne Monday. Elsewhere Patterson dropped a 3-2 decision to Catholic High-New Iberia Saturday at New Iberia’s jamboree, while the Berwick Panthers fell to New Iberia 4-2 at the jamboree.
