The Central Catholic Eagles won their first game at the Eagle Tournament in Morgan City Thursday, defeating E.D. White 64-56.
Central Catholic took a 14-6 lead after a quarter, led 30-22 at halftime and 41-36 after three quarters.
The teams combined for 14 three pointers (nine for Central Catholic and five for E.D. White).
Brooks Thomas led three Eagles in double figures with 22 points. Other Central Catholic scorers were D.J. Lewis, 14; Taylor Blanchard, 11; Elijah Swan, eight; Davidiyone Bias, six; and Ethan Boagni, three.
