Central Catholic will open Division IV playoff action Tuesday against No. 15 Cedar Creek at 6 p.m., but it won’t be a typical first playoff game for the Eagles.
In years past, the Eagles have played a first-round contest, whereas this year, Central Catholic (20-9) was seeded No. 2 in the postseason and had a first-round bye.
That means their first playoff opponent actually will be a second-round opponent.
