CCHS to meet Centerville for homecoming

Central Catholic High School will look to win its fourth straight contest when it hosts District 7-1A foe Centerville for homecoming Friday. Central Catholic (5-3 overall, 3-1 in district) has defeated Highland Baptist, Vandebilt Catholic and Hanson Memorial the past three weeks. “You want to be playing your best football as the season is coming down the end and going into the playoffs, that third leg of the race,” Central Catholic Coach Tommy Minton said. “I feel like we are playing our best football.” Meanwhile, Centerville enters Friday’s contest with a 5-3 mark and is 1-3 in District 7-1A action.
