CCHS defeats Ascension Episcopal to cap perfect district season

The Central Catholic Eagles concluded their district season with a 14-0 mark after defeating Ascension Episcopal, 14-4, in six innings on Senior Day in Amelia Saturday. While Ascension Episcopal took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, Central Catholic (24-7) responded with five runs in the bottom of the second. Each team scored three runs in the third, and Central Catholic led 8-4 after three innings.
