Berwick High School’s boys won the Region 2-3A team title on April 25 in Abbeville and send competitors in six events to Saturday’s state track and field meet. The Panthers totaled 93 points, while the Lady Panthers, who will send one qualifier to state, tied with Patterson and Port Barre with 10 points. The regional team title was the first even in school history for Berwick. The Patterson boys’ squad finished 14th with 10 points.
