Berwick High School rallied from a one-run deficit with a combined four runs across three innings for a 9-6 victory against North Vermilion in District 8-3A action in Berwick Thursday.
Trailing 6-5 after North Vermilion rallied for the lead in the top of the fourth, Berwick retook the lead at 7-6 in the bottom of the fourth and added single runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Early on, North Vermilion scored single runs in the first and second innings for a 2-0 lead, while Berwick responded with five runs in the bottom of the second for a 5-2 lead.
