Berwick routs David Thibodaux 17-1

The Berwick Lady Panthers run-ruled David Thibodaux 17-1 in five innings on the road in District 8-3A action Tuesday. Berwick scored two runs in the first and led 13-1 after two innings. The Lady Panthers added a run in the fourth and three in the fifth. The game was called after the bottom of the fifth due to the 10-run mercy rule. Anna Vaccarella earned the win. In one inning, she surrendered no runs or hits. Bronwyn Colbert pitched four innings of relief and surrendered one unearned run on one hit.
