Berwick routs Catholic High-New Iberia

The Berwick High School Panthers avenged an earlier-season loss to Catholic High-New Iberia with a 63-29 victory in New Iberia Wednesday. The Panthers blew the game open in the second period. Already ahead 12-7 after a period of play, Berwick outscored Catholic High 24-3 in the second period for a 36-10 halftime lead. Berwick extended its lead to 55-21 after three quarters. Patrick Robertson led three Panthers in double figures with 15 points. Other Berwick scorers were Travis Whitehead, 12; Josh Carver, 11; Tavaris Howard, eight; Donald Tillman, seven; Reggie James, six; and Dayton Clark, four.
