Berwick High School's Zeph Hoffpauir pitches during the Panthers' Class 3A Bi-District playoff win against Peabody High School Tuesday in Berwick. Hoffpauir and the Panthers, Class 3A's No. 4 seed, will host No. 13 Jennings this weekend in a best-of-three Class 3A Regional round series. A year after a state semifinal run and losing nine seniors to graduation, including six starters and some pieces to its pitching staff, the Berwick High School baseball team was supposed to take a dip in 2018, right?
