Berwick to host E.D. White Friday

Berwick High School will host its final regular-season game of the season Friday when it faces E.D. White. The Panthers have lost two straight since opening District 9-3A play with a win against Patterson. A week ago, Berwick (3-5 overall, 1-2 in district) fell to Class 3A’s top-ranked squad, St. James, 45-0 in Vacherie. Meanwhile, E.D. White held off Lutcher, 17-14, in District 9-3A action in Thibodaux Sunday. E.D. White’s points in the contest came via a 22-yard Landon Brignac field goal, a 42-yard touchdown pass from Cailun Griggs to Grant Blouin and a 4-yard touchdown run by Patrick Shonacher.
