Berwick High School swept the team titles at the St. Mary Parish High School Championship Relays April 12 at Berwick High School. The Panthers scored 223 points, while the Lady Panthers totaled 156 points. Berwick swept the boys’ individual honors as Josh Carver was the Field MVP, Ian Valdez, the Track MVP and Kenan Jones, the Outstanding Performer. Carver won the high jump with a leap of 6-feet, 4 inches, placed fifth in the long jump with a 19-foot, 5-inch effort and was second in the triple jump with a leap of 41 feet, 10 inches.
