The Berwick High School girls basketball team defeated West St. Mary 47-40 at Hanson’s tournament Thursday. Madison Carline led three Lady Panthers in double figures with 18 points. Other top Berwick scorers were Arianna Jones with 13 and Maci Broussard with 10. Berwick will return to action Saturday at 9 a.m. when it meets Franklin in the tournament at Hanson.
