The Berwick Lady Panthers won their first District 8-3A contest Friday with a 42-32 victory against David Thibodaux in Berwick. Berwick outscored David Thibodaux in three of the four quarters, taking a 14-4 lead after a period of play, a 26-15 lead at halftime and a 36-21 advantage after three quarters. Berwick connected on eight three-pointers, with three each coming from Madison Carline and Maci Broussard. Carline led Berwick with 15 points, while Broussard added 11.
