Lay Bertrand had a night to remember in the Berwick Lady Panthers’ 72-69 overtime win against Ascension Catholic in Donaldsonville Wednesday. The Berwick junior scored 59 points to lead the Lady Panthers in the win. Bertrand had 14 points in the first quarter, 15 points in the second period, six points in the third quarter, 11 points in the fourth quarter and 12 in overtime. She scored all of Berwick’s second-quarter points and all of its points in overtime.
