The Berwick High School swim team competed Sept. 5 in Morgan City. Berwick had five swimmers post state-qualifying mark at the meet. Those swimmers were: Ty Kapp in the 200 freestyle and 100 fly, Luke Orlando in the 200 individual medley, Grayson Wells and Kyle Boudreaux in the 50 freestyle and Landon Broussard in the 100 backstroke. Kapp finished first in the 200 freestyle and 100 fly. Kapp’s 200 freestyle time was 2:16.02, while his 100 fly time was 1:03.17.
