The inaugural Atchafalaya Easter Open, a tournament for prep high school golfers, will be held Friday at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson. The purpose of the tournament is to allow golfers a chance to play in a match similar to district and regionals. Tee times for the 18-hole event will begin at 8 a.m. Schools who will be participating: Ascension Catholic, Assumption, Berwick, Central Catholic, Central Lafourche, Episcopal, Morgan City, North Vermilion, Pine Prairie, Sacred Heart, St. Charles, St. Edmund, St. Paul’s, Thibodaux and Vandebilt Catholic.
